India Together

I have been a fairly regular reader of India Together (http://www.indiatogether.org) for a while now. They write about the kind of stuff that mainstream media usually does not dwell on too much. In general, their articles are balanced and nuanced, and always, informative.

You will find policy articles, opinion pieces and fascinating stories of people who have made a difference in areas like agriculture, child rights, education, health, environment etc.

You can also a get a pdf version of their articles, if you contribute monetarily to their site. They are almost fully funded by the readers, and don’t appear to have any other sources of income. You could pay as much as you wish, though they recommend Rs. 1000/- per year.

Personally, I think it’s a valuable addition to your regular reading, and would happily recommend a paid subscription, if you like their articles as much as I do.

  1. Did you know the site’s maintainer, Ashwin Mahesh, lives pretty much across the road from you? in South City. He’s a nice guy.
